Piggery waste treatment -presentation
The pig produces large quantities of manure, rich in organic matter and nutrients. The daily manure (fresh) output of a pig is equivalent to 6% of its body weight. Most pig manure is collected in liquid form (slurry) and disposed of by land application.
Increasing piggery sizes, continuing land application of effluent poses an environmental problem, especially N and P pollution of waterways as well as methane and odor pollution from anaerobic ponds.
Wastewater after solid separation has to be recycled as well, for flushing to watercourse or sewage systems, thus reducing the amount of water used and the amount of water to be disposed of.
The Wormarvel Group supplies an innovative sustainable recycling solution for Dairies, Piggery, and other animal manure, Agriculture waste, etc. Our system is using a Vermiculture patented system with only 3 outputs: Irrigation quality water, Protein, and Bio-Humus (a nutrient-rich soil).
No leftovers, No oxygen depletion, No pollution, and No foul smells.
