Dairy waste

The Wormarvel system treats simultaneously cow manure and the milking facility wastewater.   Although the pre-treatment of liquid and solid wastes streams differ, both streams are fed to the worms treatment in the same worm habitat. The dry/solid stream is used as feed (after digestion) for worms, and the fluid is fed to other worm cages whereupon the dissolved elements in the wastewater are decomposed by biological layers, and the body of the worms .

Our bio-filter system (a part of the patent) is the most effective system to handle the Anaerobic digested and get from its Irrigation quality water + biomass as agriculture soil.

The result of this process yields just three classes of products:

  1. Bio-Humus - a nutrient-rich organic soil that can be safely used in agriculture
  2. High valued Protein from worms that used as feeds additive for animals or in medicine.
  3. Irrigation quality water by Vermi-Bio-Filter.
  4. GHG Tax revenue (green-house gases) by reduction of emission.

No residues, No oxygen depletion, No pollution and No foul smells

We developed the "Waste2Crop" system, an entire process to treat Dairy Sludge by turning it through some stages, into fertile agricultural soil (or horticulture), used to grow food-quality crops for humans.

Thus, the problem of treating Dairy Sludge (or any organic sludge, including anaerobic sludge) becomes a resource of sustainable products with unlimited ongoing demand.
